Supersnore XLI

Well we are one week away from Superbowl XLI, and I’m counting the days until pitchers and catchers report to spring training.  This Superbowl thing is all just a formality,  big hype for a big let down.  As a guy who was a minor leaguer who couldn’t make the majors, I’ve taken my share of mocking, but I do love sports. Baseball is my favorite, but I do love a good Superbowl party. Most party’s are much better than the game, and in my humble opinion,  I hope you are headed to a great party, because this has all the making of a stinker!!!! Mr. Manning is the face of the NFL so if you haven’t seen him in all those commercials, get ready America, because after this game he will be even more in the public eye. The sudden good play of the Indy defense, and having Mr. NFL as your quarterback spells blowout. Sure the Bears have a great defense, but that’s where it begins and ends. As a person who enjoys putting a little wager on many sporting events, I believe my two nickles have to be on Indy minus the 7.  So I hope everyone eats all the salsa and chips, pizza and beer, or my favorite, italian sausage with lots of peppers and onions, and hits an office football square for a few dollars because I think its going to be a 31-14 Indy victory.  Lay the 7 points. Come on spring training!!!
